A mysterious fire threatens a town in the mountains. An expert firejumper leaps from a helicopter into the red-hot blaze below and leads her team into the burning forest. Arson is suspected and there are fears of what a larger fire could do. A second blaze erupts, catching the firefighters off guard. It rips through the forest consuming everything in its path, including the town that is directly in its path.
